Math Classes
The High School Equivalency test—HSE/HiSET/GED—includes Math.
Math is needed to enter community college and many vocational programs. Knowledge of math is an important life skill, as well. Conejo Valley Adult School offiers two levels of mathematics: Basic Math and HSE Math. Please note that the content of all three appears on the HiSET and on the GED test. Note also that you do not have to be pursuing the HiSET or GED to take a course whose title has HSE or HiSET in it. Diagnostic math testing will help determine your placement in the appropriate math class. To take the diagnostic test, you do not need an appointment; just come in during registration hours. Please contact counselor Sam Kane at 818-203-0826 or SamK@ConejoAdultEd.org for further information about math.
* The GED and HiSET both are ways of earning a High School Equivalency Certificate. Conejo Valley Adult School will offer prep for the HiSET.
