Ballroom Basics
Have you always wanted to learn to dance but never got around to it? Do you wish you could dance like they do on “Dancing with the Stars”? Join this new class and learn the basics of 3 popular ballroom dances: the dramatic Tango, the lively Cha-Cha and energetic Swing. Salsa Workshop

Beginning Guitar
Here is a course designed to get brand new students and students with limited experience playing simple melodies and chords right from the start. Students will be able to play and accompany themselves on basic songs by course end. Bring your guitar to class.

Instructor: James Swing is a performer with 40 year of experience, including playing in a country rock group for many years. He is a graduate of U.C.L.A.’s ethnomusicology department program and a guitar and music instructor for Moorpark Unified School District and Ventura County’s “Artist in the Classroom” program.

Advanced Beginning / Intermediate Guitar
Come and learn guitar stylings from around the globe including popular American rock classics. Class will include Caribbean, reggae, Hawaiian Slack Key guitar, and Afro-Pop. Skill level requires knowledge of basic chords and note reading (standard or guitar tablature) and/or completion of Beginning Guitar (above).
