Chair Yoga is designed for those who have never taken yoga before, cannot comfortably be on the floor, have arthritis or are recovering from illness or injury. Katlen Ebert combines her experience as a PT with her advanced training in therapeutic yoga to teach a calming yet rejuvenating yoga class. Katlen is particularly adept at tailoring poses for students who may have back injuries, knee issues or other physical limitations. Bring a yoga mat and an extra towel or blanket.

Qi Gong is an ancient Chinese exercise which promotes health, wellness, and balance. It also strengthens the body, mind, and soul. Hiking for Fitness

Offering several levels of hiking in our local foothills all of which will meet at Conejo Valley Adult School’s parking lot for the first class. Thereafter the class will meet at designated trailheads. Wear sturdy trail-rated hiking shoes and comfortable clothing in several light layers. Water, sunscreen and a lightweight backpack or fanny pack are highly recommended. A hat, snack and camera/ phone are also a good idea.

Alexander Technique
Not an exercise in the traditional sense, the Alexander Technique applies body alignment principles to reduce stress, fatigue and muscle tension and to counteract chronic pain due to poor posture, neck and shoulder tension and lower back injuries. This introductory class will benefit daily life by increasing the ability to move with ease and freedom. Wear comfortable clothing.
