How would you like to learn to design a room in your own home without being overwhelmed by all the choices you need to make? If so, then enlist in this 6-part Room Design Workshop. You will get all the training and strategies needed to successfully complete your project. The class will cover finding the inspiration to kick start your project, how to assess what you have, need and want, creating a floor plan, color coordination, lighting, shopping, hiring help, budgeting and much more.

Instructor: Susan Pritchard has been designing for Ventura County clients since 1996. She was voted a Ventura County Favorite in 2015 and has been featured on episodes of “Famous Homes and Hideaways”.

Workshop
This intensive class will introduce a new way to look at your kitchen whether you are remodeling or just doing a facelift. Come and learn all about new kitchen products, design layout, the latest colors and how to hire the best contractor. We will discuss how to stage your kitchen for resale as well.

Fermented Foods
This interactive class will teach you how to make sauerkraut, kimchi, kombucha and sourdough bread. We will prepare these international delicacies and discuss the health and nutritional benefits of fermented foods. You will learn the science behind fermented foods and understand why and how cultures have been fermenting for centuries.

Instructor: Paul Hudak teaches organic gardening, cooking, and nutrition at a local school. As a lifelong fermenter, Paul has taught many fermentation workshops locally.
