| X-Ray Technician |
X-ray Technicians prepare patients for x-rays by explaining the procedure, positioning
patients and shielding with lead protective shields, setting up and adjusting equipment,
setting controls for appropriate density, detail and contrast, keeping patient records
etc. Train to work in a hospital, Drs office, diagnostic lab or outpatient care facility as
an X-Ray technician. Employment in this career is expected to grow and job prospects
are projected to be excellent. |

| Get the comprehensive skills needed to be a Front and Back Office Medical Assistant. Responsibilities include assisting physicians with patient care in addition to administrative and clerical tasks. |

| Surgical Technician |
| Surgical Technicians assist in operating rooms under the supervision of surgeons, registered nurses and other surgical personnel. Duties include preparation of the operating room, setting up instruments and equipment, sterile drapes and solutions, preparing patients for surgery, observation of vital signs during surgery, preparation and disposal of specimens taken for lab analysis. Employment in this field is expected to grow, and job prospects are excellent. |
